Norton has gone way downhill

Norton used to be a decent company. Recently, it really has deteriorated. Example: Norton wouldn't open on my desk top and I determined that it should be uninstalled and reinstalled. I called Norton tech support for help. After a 45 minute hold, I reached an agent who said she wasn't trained to do this (a pretty basic thing) and transferred me to another line. I was put on hold again and ultimately hung up after over an hour of holding and no solution in sight. Also, I'm constantly getting popup offers to buy extra cost options. Some are difficult to get rid of. I'm planning to switch when my subscription expires. Norton used to provide good support and be unintrusive. Apparently they've gotten greedy at the expense of their customers.
