Norton Identity Safe - Android App - Trouble Logging Into Apps

I have been a user of Norton products for years, but only recently started looking into other non-antivirus features of Norton.

I thought the idea of the Norton Identity Safe was a great idea.  I downloaded the app and thought that it would, as it says, automatically log me into apps.  But there is no feature that enables the program to save passwords when logging into an app.

For example, I recently tried to log into an app for my 401K account.  Other password saving apps like Keeper auto save passwords as you log into the app for the first time, but there is no way to save a username/password in Norton's Identity Safe directly from an app.

What apps are you trying to log into? I have never used this feature but I can try if I know what to test.

Re: Norton Identity Safe - Android App - Trouble Logging Into Apps

I've used the Keeper app for years, and it was capable of allowing me to add usernames and passwords to Keeper while still on the login screen of my apps. I need a password app that works not just by absorbing passwords from the Vault's browser, but a password app that can absorb passwords as they are first inputted/created within an app, like keeper. There a many WEBSITES that the Vault BROWSER has absorbed login info for, but if the Vault app isn't smart enough to determine the corresponding app that username and password it absorbed belongs to, the app sign-on is a feature Norton might as well not even have. Some examples of sites whose passwords, once stored in Norton, will not work with the sites'corresponding apps: Subway Principal Financial Clinical Pharmacology Walgreens If this feature gets improved, I will once again be interested in the Norton app. Let me know if this feature gets enhanced or updated.

Looking at the product announcement for ID Safe, there is a list of apps that are currently supported for the app login feature. Principal Financial is not on the list yet. I'll see if I can find out how to make suggestions for additional apps.
