Norton Identity Safe is DOWN

I have 2 Windows 10 PCs and use MS Edge as my default browser, and use the Norton Identity Safe extension to keep track of my website logins and passwords.  I cannot open the vault--I get an error saying "Sorry, something went wrong.  Please try again."  This happens on both PCs.  When I try to contact support through the Norton Security Suite I'm issued a trouble ticket then am told that Support Chat is unavailable.  Similarly I cannot successfully log in to my online vault.  

What is going on?

According to Norton Support, they are having issues with the ID Safe server and are working to fix it.  They indicated a time frame of 24-48 hours.

24-48 hours is an unacceptable length of time for that service to be down. Why doesn't Norton have a backup they can switch to? Norton really needs to give us the option of Local ID safe like it used to work. 

When (if) ID safe works again everyone needs to download a current copy of their logins so you have them when this happens again and also set a reminder to do it on a schedule (daily, weekly, monthly...what ever works for you).

Thank God I still have a Local vault to use with IE 11.

Looks like Norton has problems with their online vault servers on a regular basis.

Looks like they have been down for over 9 Hrs since 9:27 AM UTC.

Where is you backup. Come On Man!!!!!

Thanks for heads-up!  (But I think I'll start looking for something more reliable!)
