Norton Identity-Safe no longer filling usernames&passwords for chrome browser

More accurately, ID-Safe is not any longer filling any password & username combinations when using the most recently updated Slimjet browser based on Chrome 47  (Google Chrome 47).

The version of ID-Safe shown in the browser  (supposedly, "standalone" ID-Safe)  is v 1.0.5;

Slimjet Browser v 7.0.1.0 based on Chromium 47.0.2526.73

Norton 360 v22.5.5.15

I have not found how is ID-Safe in current Google Chrome, because no longer have that one on any computer here.

Adding Information:  The complaint seems to depend on which site to log-in to , so seems to depend on the site.  Still will look further.

Re: Norton Identity-Safe no longer filling usernames&passwords for chrome browser

This problem is now much less frequent than when I first reported on jan. 14.  The especially one stubborn site is now (usually) auto-filling the sign-in screen allowing me just one button click to sign in.  Then there is the occasional difficulty in fully auto-filling for google accounts.

Re: Norton Identity-Safe no longer filling usernames&passwords for chrome browser

Hello gcc

When you go to the troublesome site, is there a place on the Toolbar where you can report the difficulty? If there is no such place, perhaps if you list the troublesome sites, then someone could perhaps fix the individual sites. Don't know if that is possible to do, but we can try it.

Thanks.

Re: Norton Identity-Safe no longer filling usernames&passwords for chrome browser

floplot,

I am still watching what happens when using Norton ID Safe for any sign-on pages when using SlimJet (essentially like Google Chrome).    The sites seem to have no link onto which to complain or report.
