NIS just disappears, when I attempt to restart it, I get the following error

I have used the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool multiple times, it does fix the problem but it keeps happening! How do I fix this?

When you use the Norton removal and reinstall tool, are you using the Advanced Options > Remove Only option. If not, try that and then log into your Norton Account and download a fresh copy of your 360 product. Then be sure you run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available? Then restart again. Restarting, not shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. Just an FYI that the latest available full offline installer for Norton Internet Security (NIS) can still be downloaded from https://www.norton.com/latestnis. When I browse to that link from my location (Canada) I'm offered the latest English-US installer (currently NIS-ESD-22.21.11.46-EN.exe, approx. 220 MB).
