Norton messes up with my Firewall and blocks the internet conneciton

Hey.

I am unable to use the Norton protection that I paid for after the latest update.

It messes up with my firewall settings and I don't know what to do with it.

I have Windows 11, connected to the internet through a cable. 

After the latest update (not sure if Windows or Norton) it messes up with my firewall settings and won't let me go online.

I am forced to uninstall the whole Norton from my desktop to be able to connect to the internet. Then I install it again, but as soon as the computer is rebooted there is the same problem. Norton interferes into my Firewall settings some way and it is connected to internet, but none of the browsers work. 

I don't know what to do. I am afraid to run a windows update on my laptop, because I am afraid if I do, Norton will start the same fuckups and messings with the Firewall, and on this computer I am not able to use any protection, because it defeats the whole point, I cannot go online if I have Norton installed.

HELP!

Hello. Make sure you reset your Norton firewall and reboot, then retest. If you have any other antiviral software running disable it. If you are running ANY VPN disable it also and retest.

"my firewall setting"?  "my firewall" meaning Norton Smart Firewall => Automatic Program Control? OR what firewall?

i dont think its a windows update issue, seen nothing anywhere stating any such problems

would seem norton is not playing nice on your device

i would run the auto fix

in classic mode top right click help, than on left click get support

let that run

sometimes its a installation issue it finds ( common often)

restart after that runs

yup, looks like it's solely Norton issue, not the windows. 
I will risk updating windows on both laptops and see what it causes

yup, looks like it's solely Norton issue, not the windows. 
I will risk updating windows on both laptops and see what it causes
