Norton might just be the most consumer exploitative company ever

I have subscribed to 2 years of Norton Antivirus Plus. When i go to cancel my subscription, they give me an option to stay subscribed for 5 more days and get 1 month extra subscription. But after trying it many times,it still shows the same renewal date of subscription. My guess is that Norton doesnt plan on giving that one month extra, they just say that to get people subscribed with them and later forget about it and hence money reduction for another term

My guess is that the extra month is applied to your next automatic renewal term.  IDK
Maybe, run Help -> Subscription Status to sync with Norton server.  IDK

They have also made it a very painstaking task of getting in contact with them
