Norton Password Manager causing considerable slowdown in Chrome
When I have Norton Password extension activated it slows down Google Chrome considerably. Mouse response is noticeably delayed along with page loading functions. When I disable the extension things return to normal speed.

Re: Norton Password Manager causing considerable slowdown in Chrome
I have this exact same issue. Facebook and other social media sites become almost unusable. I actually changed the battery in my mouse and keyboard because I thought this was the issue. I have disabled the Password Manager in Chrome and now my system is back to normal. Please fix this as I have 20 days left before my Lastpass expires. Other than that it works quite well
Re: Norton Password Manager causing considerable slowdown in Chrome
Yes, I'm using Lastpass also but doesn't renew until December. There is another password manager "Bitwarden" that works okay and is free. I simply can't use Norton Password at this time. It's so slow, it's pitiful. Shame to ruin a great idea and product with ancient toolbar rehabs. Simply counterproductive. Please Norton, do away with SafeSearch connected dinosaur search engines and multiple browser extensions. Keep it simple and effective for all. Thank you
Re: Norton Password Manager causing considerable slowdown in Chrome
Hello @Kuster
Sorry to hear your are experiencing performance problems. We'd like to know more information since it doesn't match our day-to-day usage of Password Manager on Chrome.
You labeled your post with Windows 10 - can you provide the build version and if you are using 32-bit or 64-bit?
You can get this information from the Win10 "System Information" app, looking at the "System Summary" section and the "Version" and "System Type" items.
For Chrome, can you report the details from Help -> About Google Chrome?
Finally, are there some typical sites that show the slowdown? Does it matter what kind of content is being viewed on the sites or certain areas within those sites?
(If you prefer to share this information directly with me and not post it in the thread, please send me a private message)
Thanks,
Matt

Re: Norton Password Manager causing considerable slowdown in Chrome
Hi Matt,
Windows 10 64-bit Version 1803 OS Build 17134.556
Google Chrome Version 72.0.3626.96 (Official Build) (64-bit)
All sites exhibited the same behavior. I tried on 3 separate occasions (weeks apart) with same results.
