Norton Pop-ups and annoyances

Norton subscriber for over 19 years.

Norton update notifications appear (pop-up) while browsing.  How do I keep it from popping up.  Its driving me crazy.

Also, norton constantly slow my computer down, which my computer has plenty of memory and drive.  How do I stop norton from running up my CPU?

Why do I have to install norton security and norton search when all I want is the Password manager?

I would be so happy if I could solve these annoyances.

I have always considered Norton Security (with no special limiting qualifiers) to be your flagship, industrial-grade security product.

You can install just the Norton Password Manager, NPM, extensions in each browser without any Norton security product. But what security product would you be using to protect your computer?

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Norton Pop-ups and annoyances

I'm with the O.P. on this.  I signed up for Norton security less than a year ago, to PREVENT intrusions on my computer, and now I am inundated with pop-ups.  If I can't get this resolved (meaning: zero pop-ups), I won't be renewing when the time comes.  I don't need constant reminders of the features I am choosing to not use, or the upgrades I am choosing to not buy into.

Norton, are you listening?
