Norton Power Eraser Deleting system settings

Hi, I was running a scan with Norton Power Eraser and was surprised to see that Norton had discovered a threat that was linked to the 'registry' here is the information I copied:

I naturally tried to click fix but it then said that upon next restart system settings (1) will be removed on next restart. Is this something to worry about or is it fine as I'm holding the restart off.

NPE is a very powerful tool that can leave your system unbootable if it removes a system file.

Why were you running NPE? Did you suspect an infection on your computer?

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Do you have your computer set to hide all desktop icons? (possibly for the second account you have ever set up on this PC) This is what is being detected. You should hesitate to apply any fixes from NPE unless you know what you are fixing.

Better to use NPE to detect and then investigate rather than fix. Also if you have already applied a fix via NPE best not to sit around with a pending NPE fix waiting for a reboot. (reboot now)

Thanks, I applied the fix but it is unable to complete the task. Since I manually hid the icons I don't there is a problem.
