Norton Premium Slowing Firefox Considerably

I have been a Norton user since Symantec began. I'm used to the product. I've just upgrade via LiveUpdate to version with the hope that Norton would not cause Firefox 60.0.2 to crawl. I don't know if it the password tool or web site security causing the issue. It may be something else. It causes such a slowdown the Firefox pops up a yellow bar telling me that something is slowing Firefox with the option of waiting or stopping whatever is slowing down Firefox. Expperience tells me it is Norton. Where should I look? What should I suspend while testing?

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Re: Norton Premium Slowing Firefox Considerably

Try disabling Norton Identity Safe in Firefox Add-ons.  If that fixes the issue, you can always reenable it as needed.
