Re: Norton Protection Blog

This is old and so un true. Anyone who is a gamer and enough CPU and GPU power to not even notice things like this. Anyone who is a gamer has atleast 2 GIGS of ram. I run NIS 2009 on both my machines while gaming and do not notice a thing.

That's because Norton 2009 Products have been given a makeover and are much lighter on the system than previous Norton Products.  And it's got Features more suited to the gamers.  Just remember to use a Firewall with Norton AntiVirus 2009!

True Red but NIS 2009 is extremely light anyways so why not use it.

Because some people will go: "Oh look: 'Gaming Edition'!  I'll have to Buy that as I am such a 'cool' gamer!  YEAH!" when they see it in the shop/on the Web Site.  But I agree, N.I.S. 2009 is just as light and offers more Protection.

Re: Norton Protection Blog

LOL....................well being a gamer myself with 4 gigs of ram on my overclocked laptop with tweaked video card drivers I never notice NIS 2009 is there. Any real gamer is going to have enough ram to never notice any slow downs while fragging away.
