Norton Renewal & Lifelock

I received an email my subscription renewed. It tells me to sign into my account and to provide all of my personal information (exactly the same info that Lifelock monitors for me); So, am I now paying both Norton and Lifelock for monitoring the same information. Can I cancel Lifelock?

Re: Norton Renewal & Lifelock

Norton bought Lifelock but as for now nothing has been incorporated. Months from now I believe there is plans. It's not uncommon to have to enter those credentials. You can find great deals online for Norton such as on Amazon or Newegg

To confirm:

Um, perhaps you have Norton Identity Protection

I've read reference to Norton Identity Protection and Norton Identity Protection Elite.
I do not know particulars.

Re: Norton Renewal & Lifelock

Yes it is Norton Identity Protection and I'm looking for a reply from Norton on whether I can cancel Lifelock. I am aware they purchased them and I'm well aware that renewals can be found at less a cost on Amazon. I would really like a response from Norton.

Sure, I agree and understand wanting response from Norton.
Um, do you have Norton Identity Protection or Norton Identity Protection Elite.
I do not know difference between Norton Identity Protection (maybe free) vs Norton Identity Protection Elite (fee based).  https://us.norton.com/identity-theft-protection-elite

Some months back I read about Norton Identity Protection offered to users at time of Norton renewal.  And I've seen Norton Identity Protection Elite advertised.
I do not know particulars.

As far as I've read.  LifeLock acqitsion is next year.

Re: Norton Renewal & Lifelock

Your subscription to what, exactly, is being renewed?  Norton Identity Protection is brand new, so no one has a subscription to that unless they just purchased the product.  It sounds like your LifeLock subscription is being renewed under the new Norton product name, in which case, canceling LifeLock would probably cancel Norton Identity Protection.  Unless you are being billed twice, I would just sit tight, or contact Norton to clarify the email.

Re: Norton Renewal & Lifelock

Sorry I've been out most of the day or else I would have updated this thread sooner.

I did call and speak to someone in Norton Protection and also got an email response from Lifelock.

Will call Lifelock on Monday for more details but more than likely will cancel with them.
