Norton Safe Search took over my New Tab page in Firefox

I installed the Norton Identity Safe toolbar.  I also got Norton Safe Search.  I don't mind it checking my searches online BUT I do mind that it took over my New Tab page in Firefox.  Now whenever I click on New Tab instead of getting a tab with all of my tiles with my most used websites I just get a tab with Norton Safe Search.  How do I get my tabs back WITHOUT having to completely reset Firefox and lose all my other settings?

both links work for me.....

To change the home page in Firefox

  1. Open your browser.

  2. In the address box, type about:config.

  3. In the page that appears, click I'll be careful, I promise.

  4. In the search box, type home.

  5. In the browser.startup.homepage row, right-click the current URL value and click Modify.

  6. In the Enter string value dialog, type the URL that you prefer to be your home page and click OK.

  7. How do I stop the Norton Home Page from loading in new tabs

  11. In the browser.newtab.url row, right-click the current URL value and click Modify.

  12. In the Enter string value dialog, type the your URL that you prefer.

If you prefer not to keep any specific page, type about:blank.

It works for me too.  Here's the instructions anyway.

A little bit of knowledge is... well a little bit of knowledge.
