Norton Secure VPN Won't Start - Erroneous Torrent Message

I'm hoping someone can give me some guidance with Secure VPN.  The version of Norton 360 I purchased included the Secure VPN and when I open my My Norton page, I see it listed with the default action of Turn On.Norton VPN Problem (My Norton) Large Web view.jpg  I had already set my "Region"

The problem comes when I click on the button to turn it on.  I get this strange message indicating it can't turn it on because a torrent app is running.  I am unable to find any kind of log I can search that will tell me what program it thinks is running because at the time I was trying to launch it, I had just rebooted my system and the only application I went into is My Norton.  I checked other threads of things to look for and everything looks fine as far as any Services running and what the settings for them should be.

Now I should also mention that the only Norton product I installed on my Windows 10 machine was my Norton 360 Premium for 10 devices.  I have not downloaded the Secure VPN separately because a) there was no indication I needed to and b) I didn't want to possibly screw up the Norton 360 I installed.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions or knows of something I may have missed, I would appreciate it.  I should also probably mention it's working fine on our Android devices so this one is a stumper for me.

Maybe, run Process Explorer -
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/process-explorer

- just to see any process - "torrent client" ?

Note: I'm not familiar with torrent clients -

Thanks for the suggestion.  I had forgotten about Sysinternals.  I ran the program but, as expected, there is no such client running.  I know of a few torrent clients but I don't have them installed.  But it got me to thinking...I have been using Free Download Manager for years whose main purpose is to help speed up downloads from the web by using the site's mirror locations..  I know recently it has the ability to do something with torrents but you have to check that box and I never activated that feature.  What's a bit baffling to me is why Secure VPN would really care if there was a client running, but it it did, the least it can do is identify the name of the offending software.  Again, thanks for suggestion.

Hello XmasRose- Also within the sysinternals suite is autoruns. It will give you a greater depth view of what is actually running. If you suspect something imbedded that you cannot see on your own or detect run Rkill from the desktop. If it finds anything malicious running it will terminate it and save a log file of it for review. Your mileage may vary.

Cheers

What's a bit baffling to me is why Secure VPN would really care if there was a client running,

It cares because Norton VPN does not support torrents.
