Norton Security with Backup keeps asking for activation.

Version 22.5.2.15

Installed in February 2015 and paid for.  Again today, it tells me that the trial period has expired and the product has to be activated.....but it is activated with 166 days left.  I think this is about the 4th time this has happened.  Under manage my subscriptions, there is now another entry for the same computer.  Can you help?

No they couldn't.  Best they said was to activate it and delete the duplicate licence entries.  Hardly a solution!

Does anyone have a solution or is this a flaw in the software?

Does your Norton Account show the activated NSwB with the current Key in the services tab of the account?

Which windows O/S do you use, if Windows 8/8.1/10 please ensure Fast Start-up is turned off as this can affect the way Norton and other programs work. If you are not familar with Fast Start-up please see the information in the two links below:

Doing this alone may solve your difficulties, if not and you have an activated NSwB in your account as mentioned above I would be inclined to uninstall your current installation using the Windows Uninstall a Program then running the Norton Removal Tool. Save any settings you wish too ensuring that your computer is restarted following uninstall. Once uninstalled visit your Norton Account delete your computer in the Devices Tab then the unwanted installation(s) in the Services Tab when you can then download an already activated version of your software. The Norton Removal Tool can be downloaded and your Account may be accessed from the links below:

Thanks Michael for the reply.

I'm Windows 7, haven't done the upgrade to 10 yet.  I'll do the uninstall/reinstall process and report back.  I'll give it a couple of weeks to see if it has solved the problem.
