Norton for server does not appear on my Norton account service homepage

My product M6025636668 Norton for server: Sales Order #: XXXXXXX: customer Gabriel

Product Does not appear on my Norton account service homepage. This completely negates Management and setting up of service. I have no way to place a product key to activate it nor will it accept my existing account login. I ordered it using that account, that name, that login so why isn’t there?

You made it almost completely impossible to figure out the correct service needed to run virus protection on my server and tell this date I still do not have any Norton protection running on my server.

Q1: What is wrong with Norton 360 for server?

Q2: Why can’t I activate my product from the account I purchased it form?.

Q3: Why can’t I use my existing login from my existing account?

Q4: Why do I need to log onto ‘your server’ to use ‘my program’ installed on my server

Q5: and is “protection” code for we conned you into buying a program that has no virus scanner

Where did you find 360 for Server? Norton products are for home use. Server OSs are not supported.

"Where did you find 360 for Server? Norton products are for home use. Server OSs are not supported."

See that is my point. They didn't say so. They used the word "server protection” so I asked is this "code for we conned you into buying a program that has no virus scanner"

I asked if there was a Norton protection for server and they never responded. So I have been conned and jacked.

Can you give a link where you saw the reference to server protection? Was this on a reseller site or directly on Norton's site?

Re: Norton for server does not appear on my Norton account service homepage

So far all I’ve been told is that “end user” is only online management that already exists within the base Microsoft server interface. So therefore doesn’t appear on my account as a Norton product because is no way to use it in any other capacity other than entrusting your information to Norton which in reality is pretty scary and deceitful. Its whole design is to make money off accessing your information nothing more.

Re: Norton for server does not appear on my Norton account service homepage

Peterweb any reference to server Information protection is incorporated into every second paragraph of the "small business Norton" package, you obviously haven't read it. It is repeated so often it makes you and your condescending tone look like a pompous Norton meat puppet https://us.norton.com/small-business. Read it for yourself, don't make me do your work for you and you would see that the whole wording and presentation is deceitful, designed to give the wrong impression. Ask yourself this how can a "business package" not have something to protect my server and less was a con from the beginning with full intention to deceive. Justified the statement "protection for your whole business" 'page one' then come criticise my position..

First. There is no need for profane language. We are just users like you that volunteer our time to try to help other users from our experience with the Norton Home based products.

I do not see where I did anything you seem to think I did. I pointed out that these forums are to help home users. That there is a business offering is something that has only come up a couple of times in the forum. I only asked for a link to where you saw the information about servers being supported.

Now to answer your questions.

I did read the information at the link you gave to the Business offering. Did you read the whole page? There was no mention of the word 'server' on that page. Did you click on the button at the bottom of that page to choose For your Business?

That takes you here.  http://us.norton.com/small-business

The only mention of the word 'server' is to say that no server is needed for your protection.

And if you scroll to the bottom of the page, the system requirements are listed. There is no mention of a server OS in that list.

Re: Norton for server does not appear on my Norton account service homepage

Protects data across devices — desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones.

With Norton Small Business, a single solution will protect your in-office computers and your on-the-go laptops, tablets and smartphones. Norton security is custom-built for each device, so your PCs and Macs are protected from online threats and identity theft, while your smartphones and tablets are protected from loss and unwanted access to customer information.

Protection is mix and match. Protect a single desktop for one employee, or a laptop, tablet and smartphone for another. Customize your protection with the combination of employees and devices that makes sense for your business.

Like Peter was saying, it's not for a server and it does not claim to be for a server.

If in your underlined statement proves my point. “Not required” instead of “not available”.

Compatibility with information proponent a as you have pointed out is not for ‘Semantic Endpoint Protection’ which says it is compatible with server 2008 and is a component of same package. Slack homework is no work no dice meat puppets.

So dishonest corporate marketing "I can't do that Dave" ether.

Re: Norton for server does not appear on my Norton account service homepage

If you want Symantec Endpoint Protection to protect your server, that is the product you need to purchase. http://www.symantec.com/endpoint-protection/

What you linked to here is a NORTON product, not a Symantec product. The two products are different. There is nothing dishonest on the Norton page. Did you look at the system requirements? No server OS listed.

On a personal note. I hope you treat your customers a lot better than you treat people that are trying to help you.
