Hello.
I have just started up my computer and logged in. Without warning or doing anything at all, my Norton has just opened up to the main menu and blinked a few times from the taskbar. I am no certain that this has happened before.
Has any one here had this experience?

Other users reported this after a new version of 360 was released. Updates after that new version were reported to have fixed this issue.
Have you run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available? Then restart again. Restarting, not shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. if i recall was a month or so ago ( approx. not sure when) that this was first reported, some bug in the update that was fixed with another update after
make sure you run the update and get any missing patches /builds and apply the update and restart

Hello.
First I will start with my W112 machine.
I have had Fast Startup unticked for some time.
Today ar 14:23/25/27/29 & 31. I run Liveupdate, on my first run I had 3 definition files updated but no program. on the other four times I had neither definitions nor product updates. I then restarted at 14:33. I ran LiveUpdate and neither definition nor program updates were offered.
I assume I must now wait for it to happen again. I will wait for a week and post here again no later than next Thursday afternoon about this time with any results.
