Re: Norton startup manager

I don't have Command Processor, items.
I just have programs listed.

Um, can you post pic as pdf?

Does Task Manager list "Command Processor, items? Z
My Norton Startup Manager is basically a Task Manager mirror.

I guess you've run Norton LiveUpdate and restarted machine.
I guess you're in Windows Administrator account.

Re: Norton startup manager

Hmm, may not be same item.  I've not seen Windows Command Processor items listed with Startup.

Windows command processor is a necessary Windows service related to command prompt that starts automatically on startup. Removing it from startup or killing the process might freeze or crush your PC. However, writers of malware programs, such as viruses, worms, and Trojans deliberately give their processes the same file name to escape detection.

Have you seen popups related to Command Processor?

Have you run Norton Full Scan and Malwarebytes scan?

Um, when you click on each Windows Command Processor - what does Norton File Insight report?

What is listed in Windows Task Manager under the Startup tab?

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
