Norton Uninstallment Issue

I am not sure what happened, but it has been going on for a while now. Our Norton account expired and was not renewed. However, it is still timing out on my computer, kicking me off my user. I can then switch to the other user, but it kicks me off that, too, a little later. If I try to uninstall Norton using the login to get onto my account it says this device is part of a different account. So far, what it looks like is that Norton does not register that this computer has Norton downloaded, but it still seems to be blocking me from using it for over some designated amount of time. I have tried to re-download Norton, but after I tell my computer to run the program it does not complete download or something like that, as I can only find the icons for installing norton and the file for uninstalling it.

Re: Norton Uninstallment Issue

Hi,Sally. If your Norton subscription has expired, Norton will cease to work.

You can buy a new version either via Norton or a reputable retail store which is often cheaper, and then activate the fresh copy.

Or you can contact Support for assistance.   http://www.norton.com/chat

Are you using another antivirus ?  You should only have one active antivirus so if you wish to remove Norton from your system, you need to use the Norton Removal Tool.
