Norton Utilities Advanced Scanner (32 bit)

Norton Utilities Advanced Scanner (32 bit) using up  between 400 & 1200 MB of memory and degrading performance.

Why? How can i stop it.  when i'm working in ArcGIS Pro, which uses about the same, i get close to 90+% memory useage and performance slows.

What is this scanner? Why is it using up so much memory? It seems to be always on? I can't "end the task" in Task manager . . . ?

See screenshot. How can i turn off Norton, as a work around, when using ArcGIS Pro?
