Norton Utilities no Longer Activates / Updates

Referring to Norton Utilities, the initial rebranded version of Registry Mechanic.  Norton Utilities Premium offered no benefit to us so there was no need to move from this perpetual license. 

Looks like their activation / update server has either been taken offline intentionally or they have an unresolved issue.  When attempting to install on a computer for the 1st time, the activation returns an error indicating you are not connected to the Internet.  When attempting to update an existing installation, the product returns an error indicating it cannot connect to the server.

I am an IT professional, reproduced this on multiple computers and Norton Utilities was purchased a perpetual license (this is how they initially sold it, just like Registry Mechanic) so it should work even if they went a different direction w/ Norton Utilities "Premium" (basically ccleaner).

If you are referring to the older Norton Utilities 16, that product has been EOL'd.

FYI There have not been any real updates since before Windows 10 was first introduced. NU16 was never tested against Win 10. It would install and seemed to work OK, but was never specifically updated for the new OS.

That's why (1 Reason) I purchased Norton last year used it for less than 2 weeks & got a REFUND & that IT Pro should also!

Dear IT Pro, That is 1 of the reasons why when I purchased Norton last year I used it for about 2 weeks then decided to get a REFUND & you should also!

Your solution worked. What I noticed when I logged into my Norton Account under my subscriptions it shows Utilities active but no Key code. Norton removed the key code.so it won't active.
