Norton Utilities Premium wants to re-activate

Frustrated. I renewed my subscription to NIS and it is good until August 2023. I have not used the Utilities Premium program before, so I downloaded it today. It installed, I added the activation code, and it did the first scan. 

When it reanalyzed, it had 3 recommendations, but the Re-active now button is shown. I click it and it takes me to a help page with suggestions. I ended up following the steps to uninstall and started over. So same result. 

I looked at previous posts and they all seem to look to the free version. I've paid for this so why is it SO difficult to work?

There currently is no free version of Norton Utilities. Can you confirm what Norton product you are using? The older Norton Internet Security, or Norton 360? There was a bonus free Norton Utilities Premium for having auto renewal turned on for a 360 subscription. If that is what you were using, this free bonus is no longer offered. Even if you did recently renew a qualifying 360 subscription.

What you describe must be my case. When I went to my account, this product was listed, but I made a bad assumption that it came with my renewal. I've never been a fan of utilities like this so there is no loss for me. I'll uninstall this and consider another AV product when this subscription is done.
