NORTON UTILITIES PREMUIM UPDATE FAIL

I received a notification that there was an update for Norton utilities premium and immediately after updating and attempting to activate it I'm prompted with "ERROR 6 YOU HAVE VIOLATED THE TERMS OF USE. PLEASE REMOVE THIS FROM ALL COMPUTERS NOT IN YOUR HOME GROUP! I did a recent restore using a windows 10 pro image that I had previously created and everything was perfect until doing the update. What gives?

Re: NORTON UTILITIES PREMUIM UPDATE FAIL

Did you create your disc image while you had a valid subscription to Norton Utilities Premium, NUP?

Are you using the NUP included as a bonus for having Automatic Renewal on your 360 product? If so, have you turned off the Automatic Renewal? If so, you are no longer allowed to use the NUP product.

Re: NORTON UTILITIES PREMUIM UPDATE FAIL

1.) Did you create your disc image while you had a valid subscription to Norton Utilities Premium, NUP? Yes the subscription to Norton utilities premium was active and valid on the disc image.

2.)Are you using the NUP included as a bonus for having Automatic Renewal on your 360 product? If so, have you turned off the Automatic Renewal? Yes it was included as a bonus and no automatic renewal is on.

I have 3 windows 10 pro computers all with Norton 360 and all had Norton utilities premium installed and functioning until the latest upgrade. As of this morning I was able to reinstall and upgrade one of the three and get it to work without the error. This computer and one other exhibit the same symptoms(error 6).

Have you allowed any family or friends to install 360 from your subscription? And if so, did you also suggest they could use NUP?

Re: NORTON UTILITIES PREMUIM UPDATE FAIL

I have not allowed any family members to install NUP or Norton 360. I will contact support directly and see if they have a solution. Thanks for your help.
