Norton Utilities registration .. $$ ?

So for many weeks I have used the Norton Utilities app to clean up my system files etc, before shutting down for the night. Sadly, I earlier today it was upgraded and I am now being asked for a registration key or some such thing. I was using a perfectly good free copy and I'd very much like that back! I do not appreciate being fooled into an unnecessary upgrade and expense. The cost for such is not clearly displayed, and I do not know the price. What the hell, Norton!  Money bags is not my middle name. :-) Thanks.

I've just gone into My Norton account again and having looked at the Subscription section under 'Norton Utilities Premium - I've discovered that there is in fact a different key for NUP - I've just entered that into the app and lo and behold it works! It wasn't that obvious to me!

I also was using this app, just got a prompt this morning to update... And also got the prompt for a registration key.  Following the 'instructions' and entered my subscription registration fee for Norton 365 and got the message saying if you get Error 2 please contact us!!  So now what do I do  - uninstall this ?? Information on website is quite opaque on this!

Re: Norton Utilities registration .. $$ ?

Yes, it has some new features. I have not tried them as yet.  The Norton Utilities Premium version number 21.4.1.199  I'm sure it will get upgrades. I'll try and keep it running; fool me once ... LOL
