Norton Utilities Ultimate Sucks

After receiving pop up ad stating Utilities ultimate would speed up my computer I bought and installed it. Now my computer runs
the same or slower and locks up when idle for too long. How do I uninstall and get a refund? My computer is old and is running Windows 7 SP1 but it was running good enough for my needs before I was suckered into buying this program.
