Norton VPN

I am having to switch off Norton VPN when trying to watch programmes on Channel 5 and TNT Sports, as neither of these channels will work until I disconnect VPN. Can you suggest a solution for me please?

Re: Norton VPN

Try a different location/region.
Try a different VPN.

Websites often block VPN access for legal or copyright reasons.  There is nothing a VPN provider can do to get around these blocks.  Contact the individual web sites to see if they block VPN access.  Many sites do this for legal/copyright reasons.  A VPN service does not block access to any sites.  There is no white/black lists for sites.  Web sites have the right to protect their content.  And sometimes there are legal reasons for blocking access to users from a different geographic location. (credit peterweb)

Having similar issues and finding a need to change regions more frequently. I think there needs to be some education within the industry on how best to configure their sites to handle this function. Actually it would be great if a big industry leader like Norton brought together a number of other experts, agencies, companies to revamp and standardize a lot of things within the IT industry for security!

The web sites do know how to handle VPN's. As noted in the post above yours, many sites block access from known VPN's for legal, copyright or security reasons. It is not the VPN blocking any site.
