Norton VPN Stalled at "Connecting"

Since yesterday when I login to start Norton VPN the control panel states it is "Connecting" but NEVER achieves a connection. So it appears I am paying for a VPN but I am not getting a VPN.  Can one of the Norton engineers who is assigned to this forum please tell me how to fix this.  And please, do not tell me to uninstall and reinstall if at all possible!!!

Have you restarted your computer? If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Fast Start feature.. See more information here.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Yes, I have restarted the computer on a number of occasions and the VPN is still not connecting,  Arrghh!  I have already disabled fast start due to another Norton VPN flaw.  Can I get my money back.  Does anyone else have a suggestion that will actually work???

Same issue happening to my computer with  Windows 7.  It worked for awhile after installing so I don't think a compatibility issue. Can someone suggest a fix?     thanks

What version of NWP do you have installed?

I am currently on 1.2.162 on Win 10 and do not see this issue.

Try signing out of you Norton Account in the NWP app. Click on the little 'person' icon at the top right and Sign Out. Restart your computer and then see if you can sign back into your Norton Account, and then if the app connects.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
