I would like to make Norton aware of a problem with their website. When a customer goes to your website, there is a phone number in the upper right-hand corner. The number is to a different company. It is very deceiving as you do not have a phone number on your opening page, so it is very easy to think that the number in the corner is for Norton.
The company for the number is very slick at making you think they belong to Norton. I trusted them to go into my computer to look for problems. I purchased an upgrade for my Norton account. Luckily, I went back into my Norton count afterwards to see the details and there was nothing there. I was able to cancel the order and was refunded my money. I am not sure what they did on my computer while they were in there and it will worry me for some time.
I decided to call Norton afterwards and discuss this issue and it took me few minutes to search your site to find a phone number to call. Two things bother me here. The first is that you are an internet protection system, and another company has been able to infiltrate your website with their phone number. The second is that there is no phone number on the opening page of your website or even a link to the contact request on the opening page that would have been a deterrent for me to use the number in the upper right-hand corner. I hope you will look into this issue and remedy this situation as I am sure it will benefit many future customers.
