Norton Website Malfunctioning

I am logged into the community site, and able to post, so Norton knows who I am.

I want to visit my "control panel" page, and it's not under account profile, so I click on "Products".

It takes me to a website in Italian, and asks me what products I would like to purchase.

So now I have to scroll to the bottom, click on "Italia", then recognise that the UK is "Regno Unito", and select that.

Then it takes me to a page asking what I want to purchase in English.

Then I have to click on "my account" and sign in.

That then signs me out of community....

It's very frustrating, language problems, identify problems, and I still haven't got to my control panel page!

What 'control panel' are you trying to access? What are you trying to control?

Are you looking for your profile information? If so just click on Account at the top of any community page and click on Profile. From there you can click on the EDIT tab to change your information.

This page here.

Basically, from the community, I don't understand why there's no way to get to my dashboard, and when I try to use the navigation that exists it takes me to a different language and I am not logged in.... When I do log in, I am then logged out of community.  Just rather annoying that there's no way around the different tools without such frustration.

Re: Norton Website Malfunctioning

As you have found, there is no direct link from the Community Forums to your Norton Account. You can get to your Norton Account from the Norton 360 product interfaces. From the new My Norton interface, click on the user icon at the top left beside My Account, and click on My Subscriptions. From the Classic interface, click on Help > My Norton under the Account Information section.

Or you can go directly to   https://my.norton.com

I cannot explain your experience with being directed to different language pages.

And moving to your Norton Account website should not be logging you out of the Norton Community. If you open a forum page again, you should still be logged in.

Re: Norton Website Malfunctioning

It's a bit odd that you can't navigate from one to the other, and that you have an "account" with support and a different account for your actual services.... and that you're just thrown between languages... and I also found today that replying to a message from support logged me out and gave me an error, so the message I typed was lost and I had to type it again.  And my dashboard says I have not installed services that I have... there's quite a long list of problems (quite aside from the "unable to install updates, restart computer and re-install norton" problems that are going on)...
