Norton Wifi no longer launches on start up

For some reason, Norton Wifi Privacy no longer launches when I restart my PC (it used to launch a window indicating that I was connected to a secure network); the application appears to be running on my PC, but it's not clear that it's actually connecting to a network.  How do I fix this?  I considered re-installing it, but that requires halting the current version.  Thanks

Re: Norton Wifi no longer launches on start up

Can you still see the Norton Wifi Privacy, NWP icon in the System Tray? If not, look at the hidden icons by clicking on the little up arrow beside the System Tray and drag the NWP icon to the main tray.

Click on the icon to bring up the screen. Then click on the gear icon to access the settings then click on About to get the version number of your NWP.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Yes, I can still see NWP in the System Tray; the version number is 1.2.162

If you look at the icon, if you see a green check mark, NWP is running and active. You can confirm by clicking on the icon, and you will see the window you have been looking for.
