Not able to connect Norton Core to cloud

I am trying to setup my Norton Core. I am facing issues while setting it up. 

Tried several times to set it up. I always get the error Unable to connect to cloud.

Please help on this error.

Hi,

Could you check if there is an active internet connection in the port? Also, can you explain the steps you took? Thanks.

hi Gayathri,

Yes there is active internet connection on the port. My old NTGR Orbi is still working from that port only.

Also the steps which we had to follow are followed using the Norton APP. Is there a way to activate this product without connecting to cloud. I have tried more than 20 times and always I end up is "not able to connect to cloud". It would be really helpful if I can have a quick WAR for this.

mani12208 Could you please tell us how you have your setup configured? You modem/router connected to the Core vice the other way around. Just trying to understand the connectivity issue you are having.

The port which I am having has internet connectivity. The port is blinking green during the setup. Also I have a cable running from the ISP which I am directly plugging into the device. I am India does this make any difference. I am hoping it should work.

You need a modem between the router and your ISP connection.  You can't connect the Norton Core directly to the internet.  Are you in India?  I thought the Norton Core was only available in the United States at this point.

Thanks for the response. I was on a short trip to United States I had purchased the same there. Now I am able to surpass those. Now I am getting error message stating "Unable to activate Please try again shortly or contact support (-2016)" Can you please help solve this problem instead.

The reason you probably can't activate is because you are in India.  The Core is only available at first in the USA and I haven't seen any announcement that it is available in other countries.

In addition, the user must try to solve them otherwise contact Tech support customer services to get rid of it. Just note the phone number +1-855-676-2448, +1-855-675-4245 and call to the tech support care that is professional in solving any type of issues happen in the software..
