Re: Now that miner is not sticking will miners be paid for mining during this time ?

Based on my many posts on this and the total silence of the staff which has refused to address this issue, I am gonna say, not on your life.  In a private conversation I had with one of the Norton support staff, they are claiming that when we are claiming that Norton was stuck, that it was OUR rig that were stuck and not Norton Crypto.  It is the old "Shift the blame onto the customer" game that all tech companies use as their first line of defense these days.  Norton is denying that they made any crypto during the time when many customers' rigs were melting down mining but were not getting credit for their work.

When I presented the staff with the simple laws of physics, that, if a GPU is producing high temps, that means it is processing a lot of data, and if the data that it was processing for Norton Crypto was not ETH, then the only other explanation was that the Norton Crypto app was just feeding our rigs garbage data to process for no purpose, wasting our time, electricity, and our rigs.  The staff has no response to this.

The bottom line is, Norton holds all the cards in this game.  We only know what our rigs are doing, but we can't access the Norton servers to see what was happening on their end during these long STUCK periods.  So, Norton can claim anything they want, and we have no way to prove them wrong. But simple logic and the laws of physics do not lie.  If our rigs were working and our GPUs were producing heat, they were processing something for Norton Crypto during that time. Ethier, it was crypto which we did not get credit for (and someone else got to keep) or just garbage data that Crypto was feeding them for no purpose.  Either way, neither option is making Norton smell good here.

Ten years from now, I would not be surprised if I get one of those class-action lawsuit letters telling me that I am part of a class action against Norton for this situation and that I might get a settlement of up to $0.99. ROFL!
