NSC.exe - Bad image

Upon starting my computer I get a pop up window NSC.exe - Bad image. I’ve tried to troubleshoot but can’t get past the error message window to be able to resolve. Please advise.

Had same issue before and after moving to the latest HotFix 22.22

7.14.  Splash box that conveys Hsc.exe has failed and cannot run.  Have rebooted after .14

I am getting the NSC.exe Application Error and have tried all the suggestions for fixing the problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Norton Antivirus and done all of the live updates and applied all patches etc, sfc /scannow, reboots as required, etc. is there a solution that gives a permanent solution to the problem? This error is most tiresome.
