Old operating systems

Hi All,

When I log in to My Norton the system reports that my Windows 10 device is proteced but that my Windows 8.1 device is not. However they are the same device, I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 some time ago. Is it safe for me to delete the 'windows 8.1 device' from the system as it doesn't really exist anymore? When I select delete the system warns that some protection may be lost, why is this?

Thanks,

Laura

Re: Old operating systems

Hi, Laura. Yes you can delete the 8.1 device, and rename the Win 10 device.

Any problems with the new website and negotiating it, contact Norton Support.   http://norton.com/chat

Re: Old operating systems

In addition to above post, the new interface appears only if you go to manage your Norton product from the program's main screen.

If you go via this link,   https://manage.norton.com/  the usual interface is displayed.

Hello F 4E

Think everyone's sites are in different degrees of completion or not started. I get devices with one link and the services with a different link. They are both supposed  to be in one location. For me, both links are being worked on now. The other day, I don't think it was started.

Thanks.
