Pale Moon browser

Hello,

I've put that I need a solution, but really I want some information. Until yesterday, it was a long time since I was here, due to ill health. When I tried to log in while using the Pale Moon browser, my password would not be accepted - I kept getting a message about this info being required! Of course it was and I had given it! I tried both typing my password and using copy/paste, but I still couldn't log in. I resorted to using Firefox, which I don't often do, and logged in without difficulty. Why? Are some browsers acceptable and others not so? Is there a list available so that I can check whether or not I'm using an approved browser before I try to log in?

Obviously this isn't a particularly important issue, but I'm curious about why this happens! Any ideas please?

Re: Pale Moon browser

Was scripting enabled for the Norton Forum site in Pale Moon?  Also, though probably unrelated to the Pale Moon issue, there has been a change in the forum login to SSO:

Re: Pale Moon browser

Thanks SendOfJive! It was NoScript which wasn't fully allowing everything on this site while I was using Pale Moon, but was on Firefox. I've now logged in successfully using Pale Moon after adjusting NoScript,  thanks to your tip. I knew about the new forum login luckily so that wasn't a problem in itself. Such a simple solution, I should have thought to try it myself!

Thanks again.
