Re: Password Manager

If you are using the browser extension click on the three dots (settings).

Then click on "export vault".

Enter you vault password.

From the extensions webpage that is created copy the data and then create a file on your PC by pasting into a word processor.. I would probably create the file on an encrypted thumb drive for enhanced security of the backup file.

Re: Password Manager

When I try to export I get what appears to be a CSV file but no option to save it.

Re: Password Manager

You need to copy (CTRL C) from within the frame you see and then paste (CTRL V) the data into a word processor like Notepad and save the Notepad file.

I do not recommend you save it to your C: drive as this will create a security vulnerability for you. Best to save to an encrypted thumb drive.

Re: Password Manager

I tried that, thanks, but can not seem to import the CSV file into Excel.

At least I have a text file that I can keep on a separate USB drive.
