Password Manager automatically locks and cant find how to change it.

my Password Manager automatically locks after about an hour and cant find how to change it.  Have searched for it everywhere but the instructions from Norton are not very helpful to me.  Rarely find what I want and when I do, the instructions don't always match what I see on screen.  Anyway.  Please help me change the automatic vault lock for password manager.  thank you.

Re: Password Manager automatically locks and cant find how to change it.

If you are using a browser extension in Chrome, Firefox or Edge, there is no way to adjust the timeout for the vault log off. This was a decision made by the engineers for security reasons.

There have been many, many posts asking for more control over this timeout. So far Norton has not addressed this.

Re: Password Manager automatically locks and cant find how to change it.

I am on a Mac and using Safari.  does the same apply?

How can I switch the password manager to operate from my MacBook Pro instead of the cloud and can I switch back and forth?

Am begining to think that I might want to go back to 1Password.  Really like it, but thought it would be nice to have everything together.  Would be a little cheaper too.  :)  Hope I can make this work.  Just don't like having to keep entering my password.

thanks

Re: Password Manager automatically locks and cant find how to change it.

As Norton Password Manager is newly redesigned, I'm sure that the Mac version behaves the same as the Windows version. I'm sure any Mac users can verify for us.

The Norton Password Manager only works with a cloud vault. No local option.
