Password Mgr Add-on in Firefox NOT working

Good evening:

Firefox version 99.0.1

Add-on will not work. Keep getting something went wrong.

I've shut off the crappy VPN.

I've removed & re-added the add-on

I've rebooted the machine.

I've completely shut the machine down waited 5 minutes, brought it back up & add-on still does NOT work.

I MUST get to the password manager or I cannot work.

Having this in the cloud is a lousy answer. After this, I will look for a local answer.
