Patch keeps being applied

NIS version 22.21.11.46
Operating system Windows 10 21H2

No error message, patch seems to be applied fine when completing Liveupdate. Annoying NIS desktop shortcut keeps re-appearing.
If I run LiveUpdate after a reboot, the very same patch is asking for yet another install.
I disabled Fast Reboot, tried both restart and shut down, the issue remains the same. I also tried reinstalling the whole product but keeping my settings, same issue.

I have had the same issue with Norton Security Deluxe since a patch on about 28 Dec 2021. See Repeated Same Patch Installation from Live Update from ~ 28 Dec 2021 | Norton Community

However, today's new patch 22.22.1.58 seems to finally have fixed the problem for me.
