Hi,Why Norton Safe Web determines the paypal site and other sites as Safe, but not as Secured (Firefox)? The IE and  Google Chrome is no such problem.

My program NS 22.11.2.7, Windows 10 and Windows 7,FF 57

Re: PayPal and other sites Safe or Secured?

Hello GennadyKatz

That might have something to do with the requirements FF has now, but I will ask the Safe Web Team. They are Norton Employees and I am not one..

Please stay tuned to this thread for a response from the Safe Web Team on Tuesday night after midnight EST. Have you received the latest Norton Extension for Firefox 57?

Have a Good Night and

Thanks.

EDIT: Please see this KB for information between Norton & FF57

Re: PayPal and other sites Safe or Secured?

If you are referring to the section of the Norton Toolbar that would indicate 'This Page is Secure', that indication is no longer available with the new extension for FF browsers. The same information that was presented when you clicked on the Page is Secure is now presented when you click on the Green check mark noted in your image.

The link that floplot provided explains why the changes were made that eliminated the Norton Toolbar.
