I have been using Norton Security Deluxe (3 units for 3 years) disk version since January 2016.

It can be used until January 2022 by extending it by 3 years in 2019.

I am planning to replace the notebook PC (windows10) I am using now around August.

If I use Norton for my new laptop, can I use it until the expiration date (January 2022) if I use the same account as my old laptop?

Or should I use it as a different device with a different account?

I have less than half a year left, so it's a shame, so I'd like to apply again from the internet in 3 years from the deadline after the countdown notification came.

Is it okay to extend it for the second time?

Or should I buy a new Norton Security 360?

There are no plans to use two PCs together.

As long as you have an available activation on your current subscription, you can add the new laptop. If you have already used the 3 activations, you will have to upgrade your subscription to the Norton 360 Premium version that will include 5 devices. You can see your options on this Norton page. If you continue to extend your current Norton Security by using Norton's renewal process, you will be paying more than if you just purchased a new Norton 360 product either directly from Norton or from a reputable retailer. So the choice is yours.
