pc system time was changed message

I keep getting the message "pc system time was changed" even when I'm the only one on the computer and didn't change anything. What does this mean.  It seems to happen on both my laptop and desktop both running XP home. Is it some kind of virus or just a weird message that Norton picks up somehow?

Thanks for any help on this matter.

Re: pc system time was changed message

Hi swascom,

Do you have a product on these PCs that synchronize the time to a network system clock?

Thanks,

Katie

Not that I know of.  Would a synchronizing program come with XP or Vista automatically? Or with Office?  Maybe that's the problem but I know I didn't add any program like that to my computers.

thanks for any info you can give me.

Re: pc system time was changed message

swascom,

In your another post, you mentioned the notification emails that you received were from 2008.  Please check your time on the system at Start/Control Panel/Date and Time to see it's correct.

Thanks,

Katie

Thanks Katie
