permalink gave the wrong post quoted

Permalink gave the wrong quoted post a few minutes ago.  I could plainly see the topic and all the sequence of posts; and I clicked the "permalink" for the post I wanted, then clicked the Double Quote tag to put the intended post into the message field, but the wrong post went in, instead.

If you want to quote from a specific post, you click on Reply under the post you want to quote. When it displays, you click the quotes in a box.

peterweb, I notice very carefully, "click on Reply under the post you want to quote".  I will try again there only as a test.
