Problem with ID Safe Automatic Backups has returned

My ID Safe Vault is set with the automatic backup feature "ON".  These backups were created every day by NS.  But after 05-13-2015, the automatic backup stopped.  This same problem happened a few months ago and then for some unknown reason, NS suddenly began creating the backups again.  I have never changed my ID Safe settings.  The automatic backup feature has always been “ON”.  Until this is resolved, I can do the backups manually, but I don’t understand why this problem happens at all.

Hello KBPrez

I noticed from your signature that you are running Win 8.1. Have you turned off Fast Startup? That has caused many problems for Norton and other programs as well.

Perhaps turning off Fast Startup will fix this problem also. I don't know, but is it possible that you have run out of space for these backups since they are done every day.?

Hi floplot, 

I do have Fast Startup turned on.  I'll turn it off and see what happens.  I don't have a space problem.  Each backup is less than 500KB plus I remove the oldest backups once a week and keep only the 5 latest.  Thanks for the tip!

Did you have the vault open every day the backups did not get created? You need to be logged into your vault for the backups to take place.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Hi peterweb, Yes the vault was open.  I always log in to my vault each time I boot up.
