Problem with Identity Safe

As of yesterday I lost the ability to sign-in to the Identity Safe "Vault" on my desktop PC which is running under Windows 7 (x64) Ultimate. I'm asked to sign in to my Norton Account. When I enter my e-mail and password I'm brought back to the "Get Started" screen. I can access Identity Safe on my laptop (Win 7 Pro (32 bit) and my iPhone. My desktop is not infected with a virus or malware.

Hello Bill

Has your IDSS been updated? I think that there is a new version since a new patch came out on Monday night. Please try to update it and check out if you have the right version. Then try rebooting and see if you have the correct version. Thanks.

I am having problems with Identify Safe auto filling some websites.  Tried to login to LifeLock and it does not fill password.  Also Identity Safe seems to be acting up today...slow to open in Google Chrome.

Windows 7x64 Home Premium Edition  NSBU ver 22.5.2.15

Wish Norton would get these bugs worked out...it's frustrating!  One day they work, next not, then work, then not...not happy customer.

Identity safe locked on toolbar, cannot get it open, can access it from account,

Try toolbar get sent to account sign in, sign in, returns to picture of identity safe, put in identity safe password it says incorrect password, So I try again this time I use  account password no doesn't  like that either.

I've disabled and enabled toolbar and safe no luck. Should I uninstall and reinstall Norton. this only started since I renewed my subscription. help appreciated.

Have you restarted your computer?

Be sure you have run LiveUpdate manually a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Thanks to all for the helpful advice & comments. Although I did nothing, the problem appears to have solved itself (more likely it was corrected by a daily update from Norton). Kudos to Tibbies4life for pointing to Symantec as the likely culprit.

Update

I uninstalled Norton choosing remove all data including identity safe.

Reinstalled it and hey presto it works so happy :)
