Problem with Identity Safe following Chrome toolbar upgrade
Today I installed an upgrade for Internet Security for Chrome on a Windows 10 machine. Apart from the toolbar disappearing completely, I now have to click on an icon at the top rhs of my screen to find out what is going on.
However, even then, when I go to login to one of my websites, I am first prompted to select which user id I want to use even if there's only one login id set up in Identity Safe. Then, if that's not enough, I then have to select it again just to get the password.
This has got to be a joke hasn't it? I know I can have multiple logins for each website but, once the id is selected, the login password is fixed because I can't have more than one password for that id on that website. So why on earth isn't the password being entered automatically?
I chatted with an agent who told me this was how it was supposed to be - which makes no sense to me whatsoever. So please would someone explain the logic? Thanks.
This is an addendum - it's now even worse. When I have multiple logins for the same site, when I get to the screen where I have to click again to get the password, the options pop up once but, before I can select the correct id, the dropdown screen disappears and will not display again so I have to input the password manually. Now that has got to be a bug. Driving me nuts and I rue the day that I applied this upgrade.
