Problem posting reply in own thread

I started a topic just before bedtime yesterday evening (Irish time) about a Norton software difficulty, and it quickly had a reply from a Norton person that has resolved the problem.  I've tried several times today to let them know by posting a reply, but for some reason it still hasn't appeared in the forum.

Is it something that I'm not getting right?  Or could it be something at the website?  (E.g. some known delay, or work/sleep times differing with time zones, or to do with being new here?  The OP in my topic was my first ever post in these forums, and was immediately after registration here).  Or maybe only the Norton people can reply after the first posting in a topic?

My setup was (and is) unchanged since my first, successful posting; Chrome app in an Android phone, with no recent app updates or other changes (and same problem whether in mobile or desktop view).

Re: Problem posting reply in own thread

This thread has a solution and reply from you. Is this the one in question? If so the forums could have been having a hiccup. The was also a "maintenance event" taking place earlier this morning USA time. That could have affected things as well.

Cheers

Re: Problem posting reply in own thread

Yes, that's the thread, and thank you for the info. I think it was my fault though, as I couldn't see an obvious 'Post' button, and had been assuming the Upload button must be it! It finally dawned that that was for attachments, and the post succeeded when I tried the Save button (which I'd been assuming was to do with the Autosave facility). But it's nice to know that it might not have been entirely my fault!

Re: Problem posting reply in own thread

Hi @Border Post, Thanks for posting in Norton Community Forums . I see your point on "Save/Upload" buttons placement confusing for few first-time forum visitors. Thanks for the feedback and we will consider this feedback for future forums enhancements.
