Problems logging into Norton account and secure online storage

Hi all

I was wondering if other members have had similar issues that I have experienced logging into my account, or if the issue is in relation to my account only.

When I log into my Norton account via a browser, the browser ceases to process (after entering the correct passcode and secure code). This issue occurred on Windows 7 (Chrome), Windows 8.1 (Chrome and Internet Explorer) and iPad (Safari). However, from time to time, I am able to access the account on the Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 machines. Would you recommend any changes to setting on those machines to eliminate log in issues?

In addition, for peace of mind (given that I was unable to reach the storage despite correct password and secure code), is it possible to determine time of log-ins to the online storage or whether any files have been downloaded?

Welcome to the Norton Community Forums.

Sorry to answer a question with a question but can you clarify exactly what account you are trying to log into?

You have posted in the Backup forum so I wonder if you have been trying to register for your online backup.  In which case I believe the login details are the email address and password that you normally use with Norton.

Similarly if you are trying to log in to Norton Management, the details are your normal email address and Norton password.

As you have posted I assume that the problem is not with these forums for which you would normally use a different password, and possibly a different email address.

If it is Identity Safe (which sounds as if it might be the case) then I think the log in needs different details but as I do not use it I cannot be sure.

Once you have clarified where the problem is we can try and move towards answering your question.  This may involve moving this thread to a different forum (e.g. Norton Toolbar/Identity Safe) where it will get a better airing and more knowledgeable readers than myself.
