Quick Scan stopped running on schedule, only runs manually

Quick Scan in Norton 360 is set to run on schedule every 8 hours. It did that until a few days ago, when it simply stopped running on schedule. I can run it manually if I remember to do so. The setting, every 8 hours, is still there, but it doesn't happen.

I'm having a similar issue, my scan used to take about 5 minutes, now it's taking about 1, like its skipping files. Is your quick scan taking the normal amount of time? Could be something wrong in an update

Hello

Quick scans should happen when ever there is a SDS Definition download while your computer is idle. They happen automatically. If you want, you can schedule weekly Full System Scans. If you don't schedule those, they will run monthly.

Can you check whether Silent Mode has been activated in Administrative Settings?  If it is disable it, if not please try to enable it, then disable it again.
